Information we collect

This website does not require an account and does not ask for personal information to view any page. We only receive personal information you choose to send us, such as through the Join the Board form or live chat.

Analytics and cookies

This website does not use Google Analytics or any other tracking or advertising tools. The Lighthouse does not set cookies to follow your visit. The live chat service and the Join the Board form may set their own cookies when they load; see below. You can change your choice any time with Cookie Preferences in the footer.

Live chat and forms

Live chat is provided by Ripple (izzy). The chat loads only when you tap Chat live, unless you choose to load it on every page in Cookie Preferences. When it loads, it also connects to services it relies on: Google Fonts, Font Awesome and Twilio. Those services can see that your device visited this site, and the chat service may set its own cookies.

The Join the Board form is provided by EmailMeForm. Information you enter in the chat or the form is handled by those services and shared with The Lighthouse so we can respond.

Donations

Online donations are processed by PayPal. The Lighthouse does not receive or store your card details.

Third-party websites

Links to other organizations are announced as leaving our website. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

How we use and share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information you send us is used only to respond to you or to provide services, and is kept confidential.
