Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) was launched nationwide in October 1987 as a way to connect and unite individuals and organizations working on domestic violence issues while raising awareness for those issues.

Since 1980, The Lighthouse has supported domestic violence victims and survivors, held abusers accountable, and assisted in legislation to further those goals. In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, please support our work by donating to The Lighthouse today.

Thank you for standing with us in the fight against domestic violence!
